The environmental policy of INTEROPTICS SA represents the management's commitment to operate with absolute respect for the environment and its social partners. In the effort for continuous improvement, the management is committed to:

Comply with all relevant regulatory and legislative requirements (Greek and European Environmental Legislation).

Establish permanent control procedures for production processes in order to ensure the effectiveness of environmental protection measures.

Take particular care to prevent pollution and, by evaluating the environmental impacts that may be caused by its operation, it constantly strives to minimize them.

Set objective environmental objectives and targets, which it evaluates and reviews annually in order to achieve continuous improvement in terms of the environment.

Keeps informed of new technological developments and new scientific data with the aim of reducing environmental impacts.

Ensures through honest dialogue and mutual respect that there is communication and exchange of information with its external environment (social environment, state, local authorities, etc.).

Ensures the required training and awareness of staff in environmental protection, health and safety at work, through education.

Uses efficient environmental waste management systems for each type of waste produced, which contribute to the conservation of natural resources.

Inform contractors about the implementation of the Environmental Management System and require them to take all necessary measures to comply with it.

The environmental policy is communicated to employees, partners, customers and suppliers of INTEROPTICS SA and the adoption and compliance with it is pursued to the maximum extent possible. The environmental policy is made public if requested by the public (government, neighbors, pressure groups).
